Oktoberfest 2008 will be held at outdoor pavilions on the
17 acres of beautiful wooded grounds of Parkton’s American
Legion #256, located at 19520 York Rd. Mapquest or contact
me for directions. This venue is less than a 10 minute drive
from Rocky’s!!!
Admission is either $5, which gives the guest all the beverages
at no additional cost, with food purchased ala carte….OR….admission
for $20, giving the guest a “grazing permit” with
all beverages and food at no additional cost. There will be
vegetarian as well as meat dishes available, and as usual,
a variety of sides.
Campers are welcomed - reservations are free - but a MUST!

20 minute drive of the event venue, there are a variety of
hotels. For locations search Shrewsbury, PA, Hunt Valley/Cockeysville/Timonium
MD. Also available within a 12 minute drive from the event
is Morris Meadows. Besides tent and camper sites, they have

At sundown, we will have our traditional bonfire, and we clearly
state the evening activities are for the adults. Otherwise,
all day long is a family affair, and kids invited!
There will be raffles and auctions galore, with Rocky's very
own FEAR FACTOR and TACKY HAMMY Contest!
Music will be by the Great Ferretone himself BOB ADAMS !!!
TACKY HAMMY CONTEST!!!!! This is a great event. Recent winners
included one with the theme of, "Dead Skunk in the Middle
of The Road", then there was the 55DD Bra that was transformed
into a double-hammy!!!! Send your entries to the Barb Clay

Donations for OKTOBERFEST’s raffles/auction are always
appreciated. We are doing our best to be self-generating in
the continued expenses of being a no-kill facility. In any
given year of the past 13 years of existence, Rocky’s
has re-homed anywhere from 125 – 300 ferrets per year.

Application in NOW! We adopt to homes that are documented current
on distemper and ADV testing. Adoption Applications can be

Personal ferrets or other pets are not allowed at this event,
just humans.
